Dalton with Newton Town Council is looking for a dependable and thorough cleaner to maintain our office space to a high standard.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a professional approach to cleaning who is looking for flexible hours.

The position is based in Dalton Town Hall and requires 2 hours of cleaning per week, with flexible days and times to be agreed upon. This is a self-employed position and so you will be required to have your own insurance.

We are looking for someone who is reliable and trustworthy, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently.

While previous cleaning experience is preferred, it is not essential.

The role involves tasks such as polishing and vacuuming the reception area, Council Chamber and office areas, occasional window cleaning, and ensuring the sanitation and cleanliness of two toilet facilities. General cleaning tasks will also be required to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. We value a clean, professional workspace and are seeking someone who takes pride in their work.
