Geysir, Iceland’s most famous erupting volcanic spring, is truly a force of nature.

Here, he leads an all-star wind ensemble in an evening that begins with an unstoppable blast of supercharged musical energy and ends with the single greatest piece ever written for wind ensemble. Merseyside composer Gary Carpenter adds his own tribute to Mozart’s masterpiece, too.
