Cake Maker

Broughton Village Bakery and Cafe, Broughton in Furness

We’re looking for a Cake Maker to join the friendly team at our local village bakery in Broughton-in-Furness, so if you love baking and cooking, this could be the perfect role for you.

As our Cake Maker, you’ll:

Be responsible for opening up the bakery in the morning

Monitor oven temperatures, humidity, and baking times

Craft and create new and exciting baked goods for our bakery offering

Work with pace to agreed timelines and to high standards

Keep work areas clean and tidy and comply with food hygiene and safety requirements

You’ll need to have:

A passion for baking and for delivering great customer service

Initiative and an exceptional eye for detail

Physical strength and stamina (there’s lots of stairs in our bakery)

A willingness to wake up early! You’ll be popping the pies in the oven so they’re ready for opening at 9am
