Bridgewater Development Ltd, a respected and growing construction company based in the South Lakes, is looking for reliable and enthusiastic apprentices to join our skilled team. These roles are ideal for school leavers looking to start a career in the construction industry.

Apprentice Joiner

About the Role

• Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
• Work across residential and commercial sites in the South Lakes and Furness area
• Learn a variety of joinery skills: first and second fix, roofing, flooring and bespoke carpentry
• Gain hands-on experience alongside skilled tradespeople

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in measuring, cutting and fitting timber and materials
• Help organise tools and maintain clean work areas
• Follow site safety rules and procedures
• Work both independently and as part of a team

Apprentice Bricklayer

About the Role

• Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
• Involves working on foundations, walls, extensions and full builds
• Learn all aspects of bricklaying including setting out, mixing mortar, and laying bricks/blocks
• Receive on-site training with experienced bricklayers and general builders

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and lay materials in line with construction drawings
• Mix and apply mortar
• Maintain tools and assist with site setup
• Support team on various tasks as required

• Must have access to transport to and from jobs and sites
