COUCH TO 5K

Thinking about giving running a go but don’t know where to start? This is for you!

Our next Walney Wind Cheetahs Couch to 5K programme starts on Monday 24th August and is designed especially for complete beginners.

You don’t need to be fit.

You don’t need to be able to run.

You definitely don’t need to worry about being too slow!

We start really gently, building up gradually over the weeks with a mixture of walking and running, until we reach that magic 5K.

Starts: Monday 24th August

Sessions: Every Monday & Wednesday

6pm

Mondays: Park Vale, Walney

Wednesdays: Aldi, Risedale Road

Completely FREE 13 week programme

Can only make one session a week? That’s absolutely fine too! There’s no pressure to attend both.

Our friendly run leaders will be there every step of the way, and nobody gets left behind. The hardest part is often just turning up for that very first session - after that, you’ll wonder what you were worried about.

Just look at some of the smiling faces from our previous Couch to 5K groups!

No need to register, just come along on Monday and/or Wednesday and give it a go.

Don’t worry if you can’t make Week 1 - You’ll be totally fine coming along on Week 2
