Westmorland and Furness Council

Westmorland and Furness Council is seeking a Community Development Officer to support the development of Eden and the wider Westmorland and Furness area. This is a varied, proactive role working closely with local communities to improve health and wellbeing and deliver council priorities.

You will plan and support community projects, work with Members and Managers, help develop community groups, access funding, and mobilise local assets.

The successful candidate will have proven community development experience, strong local knowledge, and a genuine drive to make a difference. Travel across Kendal and the surrounding area is required, with some evening and weekend work.
