Set into an original Victorian dry dock we tell the fascinating story of Barrow: Victorian boom town and twentieth-century centre of innovation. There is so much to do. See our stunning ship models, WWII shelter, temporary exhibitions, and film show. Top off the day with a visit to our cafe (homemade cakes recommended!) brand new gift shop, children’s playground or walk along our coastal paths. We have a vibrant exhibition and events programme so there is always something new to see and do.
