That is why we have an ambitious redevelopment plan for the site and are now looking to recruit a Centre Manager, as part of the organisation’s Senior Management team, who can play a key role in building on the recent investment of £7million of the Lakeside Stoller Campus. As Centre Manager you will oversee the delivery of a high quality sustainable outdoor education service at YMCA Lakeside; be business focused, results-driven, with a passion for excellence. Your main duties will include:

·To manage the operations programmes deemed to be Outdoor Education, including the efficient conduct of financial, human resources and information management

·Ensure the financial viability of YMCA Lakeside and related contracts, by achieving the targets set

·To further develop and increase attendance, resulting in maximising the income within Outdoor Education

·Liaise with the CEO on legal, financial, staffing, and procedural matters relating to Outdoor Education

·To oversee the development of programmes of activities for all service users in which their physical, social and spiritual needs are met

·To develop marketing strategies to assist in achieving targets

·Ensure that all visitors are safe and enjoy the experience of the activities available; and provide a memorable experience to all that visit for a day or stay

·Ensure the logistics of operating a 500+-bed facility are robust

·Work with the Catering company to provide quality menus for the service users

·Manage day to day running of all departments in daily tasks.

·Ensure all Health & Safety Regulations and best practices followed.

·Deliver a high standard of actives that our customers expect coming to Lakeside YMCA.

·Being familiar with all licencing requirements within the centre.

·Train, lead and motivate teams of multi- discipline activity instructors.

·Demonstrate breadth and depth of knowledge within the field of outdoor education
